If mother board is shorted to the system case you asys see the CPU fan spin for a second. A problem with the CPU, memorypower supply or the motherboard itself will cause this problem. This led will turn green when the computer boots up, sometimes even showing a “no signal” display before boot.

I bought this motherboard and installed with all directions on the manual but when booting it up the monitor light stay on orange instead ps800 green so the integrated graphics don’t seem to be working some ashs, so I installed a gainward gforce TI in xm condition in the vga socket and when boot again the light on monitor goes green for two seconds then goes orange again but the system appeared to be working all fans going, so I plug a speaker to hear if beeps but does not, I cant figuer out the internal speaker yet I’m working on it now, please helpme the computer is a celeron 2.

You may not need this but Its p4w800 going over o4s800 the steps. You need to go back into your manual and take a good look at the pin configuration connected from the Mb to your case. A watt p4d800 supply seems a little light. If none of these solutions work then I would assume that you have a bad motherboard or CPU. Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
When it receives no video signal from the computer, it will stay powered for a few seconds before giving up and presuming the PC is off hence why it stays green for a while, then goes orange. Any clues to what is causing this issue?
If it does not make a difference. If this is happening after the post screen, then you have a video driver problem, which can be resolved by booting into safe mode, uninstalling your video card drivers and restarting into normal mode.

Try removing the memory and see if you get a beep code for a memory failure. I read your other posted questions.

If the monitor does not, you have a dead monitor. Looks like you are just about ready to be without a computer for a while. Also try switching out your power supply. I am unsure why your led is orange.
